MyNFFL is The National Fantasy Football League

Rules for season play

MyNFFL Rulebook

League Structure

The Fantasy Football League is comprised of 12-14
team leagues. Broken out into two divisions of
six teams (12 team leagues) or two conferences in 14 team leagues.

**Important** If a league does not meet the 12 team minimum requirement in time before
seasons start; then those leagues will go to a prorated cash prize for those choosing to remain
or the owner will get a refund if they choose not to play. This scenario will be avoided if all
possible, and we will impose strict cutoffs for team entries.

Top six teams advance to the playoffs in all leagues. Playoff teams will consist of the two division winners and

4 wildcard teams will be determined by the teams that didn't  win their divisions or conferences with the

best records. In the event of ties will go by highest team points scored total.

The top two division winners will have first round byes. At that time the top ranking team remaining will play the

lowest ranking playoff team; and the second top ranking team remaining will play the next to lowest

ranking playoff team.

The two semifinal losers will play in a consolation game to decide 3rd place.

In determining division standings as well as determining playoff teams, the following tiebreakers will be
used.

1. Total Points Scored

2. Head to Head

3. If factor #2 is a rare tie as well, then point differential will be used +/-

The Draft

All leagues will have a live draft.
(Rules on the Draft to follow later)

Lineups

Starting Lineups will consist of 8 players from your 18
man roster:
1. One QB
2. Two RB
3. Three WR (TE will be considered WR)
4. One Kicker
5. One Defense

Rosters will consist of any combo of 18 players. Be sure to have enough to fill out your lineup card each
week. Also consider bye-weeks.

If for any reason and owner should not turn in a lineup, then the owners lineup from the prior week will be used.

Please avoid this from happening if all possible. I realize emergencies arrive, and something could keep

you from turning in a lineup. We will operate on the 3 strike rule. If an owner fails to turn in a lineup for

the 3rd time during the season, then the commissioner of MyNFFL will submit a lineup for that team and the

owner will lose his team. This is to keep a competive balance on the schedule. If any issues should arrise

please contact myself off line if you are unable to submit lineup.

If at anytime, lineup can't be submitted prior to first NFL games kickoff please submit lineup via email, by phone message

that is dated and time stamped, or through the Contact Us form.

Phone number is onsite as well as email address. This is only if software should go down or you are

computerless.

In the event a game ends in a tie. That is how it will be scored in the regular season. During the playoffs in the comment box,

you will list who you believe will be your top 3 high point scores from your starting lineup. List from highest to lowest.

The first player listed by each will deterimine outcome by who is higher, if still tied, then 2nd player list..and so on to 3rd if necessary.

Transactions (Transactions are free!!!!!)

During the season all waiver and free agent moves must be submitted to the commish by

Wednesday 10:00 p.m. central time. Trades can be executed at anytime by owners, but will not be approved until reviewed

by commisioner. All Trades are subject to commisioner  approval. No waivers be allowed

after week 13 of the season. No Trades after week 12.

In the event two teams are interested in picking up the same eligible player during the waiver draft,

then the team with the worst record will be awarded the player. If both teams have the same record,

then the team with less points will be awarded the pick. In the event there is a tie for points,

then head to head loser will be next. If the rare case this doesn't break the tie, then a coin flip by

the commish will decide.

After the Wednesday night waivers are processed by the commisioner. We will have an open waiver period from that

point up to kickoff of the first NFL game for that week. These waivers during open waiver period

will be first come first served basis. Player released during the Wednesday evening waiver process of the

current week will not be available for 3 Days. This is to prevent add/drop collusion.

Player Protection Form for Keeper leagues

At the end of the season. All keeper league owners must submit a player protection form to notify which

players they will be keeping on there team for the following season.

Owners can protect 1 QB, 1 RB, 2 WR, 1 DT,  1 K, and 1 Flex .

Draft Rules

Drafts begin on date at 12:00 Midnight

Draft Rules

The draft is structured as followed:

Applies (Keeper League Only)-  If you are playing in a brand new keeper league and your teams are new, you will be taking part in an expansion draft of 7 rounds on August 1st.(Expansion draft is veteran players only!) (Note: Please do not predraft your players beyond 7 rounds until after expansion drafts are complete. Then you will be allowed. This is for those of you in a new keeper league).

If you are in an established keeper league, you will be having your regular draft on August 10th (All players in the pool). Draft is 18 rounds for new keeper leagues, and 11 rounds for established keeper leagues. Also for new keeper leagues, following your expansion draft, you will pick up your remaining 11 rounds on August 10th.(All players in the pool..rookies/Vets..)

Applies (Redraft only)- All redraft leagues draft on August 10th and will be 18 rounds.

Applies (All leagues)-  All new leagues draft in an S-Style format. Goes in a snake format. (Ex: if you have last pick in the first round, you will have the first pick in the second round.

All established 2nd year and beyond  keeper leagues only will draft based on order of finish from prior season. Example- last place teams in 2004, gets 1st pick in all rounds in 2005. Redraft leagues will go in order based from prior season in the first round. The rest of draft for redraft only is in S-format for those not in a keeper league.

Remember to draft wisely to cover your depth at positions to compensate for bye weeks and player injuries.

All teams have 16-hours when on the clock to make a selection or your pick is skipped and will have to notify me by email to manually select your pick. Your pick will be determined and be based on availability by time I receive it. I will be actively checking email, but in my experience, we have never had an owner have to do this ever. If you know you will miss your pick, please use the predraft function to make your pick. Also, even though you have 32-hours, please use the predraft function. Please be considerate, if you will be away from your computer for more then 16 hours, please predraft in that round to keep the draft moving along.

(Highly recommended) Also in the advanced franchise setup menu, please setup your email preferences to receive reports. Doing this will allow you to receive an email notification of when a team has made a selection.

Beginning July 30th - Trading activity begins. You can trade draft picks for players, or picks for picks.

For those doing expansion draft, you can trade those players once on your roster for picks in the second part of the drafts.

Please remember, if you go over 18 players, all rosters must be trimmed to 18 players by August 31st. If owner does not cut roster, the commisioner will use discretion and cut rosters to 18 if deadline passes. Please avoid this.

Any rule questions, please contact the commisioner. Good luck!
